(Honolulu, HI) – The University of Hawai`i Federal Credit Union (UHFCU) has raised $16,000 for its 2017 Aloha United Way (AUW) campaign, far surpassing the campaign goal of $10,000.

Since the campaign launched in May, each department in the credit union participated in developing fundraising ideas for AUW. Through the efforts and creativity of its employees, and generosity of its members, UHFCU was able to easily surpass their campaign goal for 2017.

“The phenomenal result of this year’s campaign demonstrates the commitment of our members and employees to supporting AUW’s mission in the local community,” said UHFCU President and CEO Jeanine Morse. “We’re extremely proud of the way our employees have stepped up their charitable efforts and contributions to such an important and worthwhile organization each year.”
