HONOLULU–University of Hawai`i FCU has unveiled a new, state-of-the-art digital banking environment for its members, including new online and mobile banking services as well as a redesigned website.

“We’ve taken a big leap forward and are excited to provide this level of technology to our members,” said Jeanine M. Morse, UHFCU president and CEO.  “We analyzed member utilization and researched the latest trends and best practices.  The in-depth analysis, along with member feedback, helped drive the design, architecture, and functionality of our new services.”

UHFCU said its online banking service now offers real-time account alerts, responsive design technology, improved security features, and enhanced transaction search.  “Acting as the core engine for UHFCU’s omnichannel strategy, the service provides a seamless and consistent user experience regardless of whether its members are visiting a branch or using a desktop computer or mobile device to access their accounts,” the credit union said. It also features easy access with fingerprint authentication, quick balance viewing, mobile bill payments, and improved, real-time check deposit capability.   Members may download UHFCU’s apps, which are available from the Apple iTunes Store and Google Play at no cost.

The credit union added that its website at UHFCU.com now features a clean, responsive design and user-friendly layout.  “From deposit accounts to loans, mortgages and credit cards, you can quickly and easily find UHFCU’s latest information on products, services, and rates.  And, in less than five minutes, you’re able to open a UHFCU deposit account or apply for a loan and receive an instant decision,” the CU stated.

“As the University of Hawai`i’s credit union, it’s only fitting that we ‘graduated’ to new and improved services at this time of year when so many students are taking that next step in life,” Morse continued.  “From our core provider to our ancillary services, we no longer work with old systems.  Everything is state-of-the-art.  We welcome the high expectations that come with being Hawai`i’s leading credit union and look forward to continuing to provide exceptional member service.”
