1. Employees of the University of Hawaii who work in the State of Hawaii, who are on the following payrolls of the Board of Regents:

    • Instructional, research, Specialists, Administrators (IRSA)
    • Administrative Professional Technical (APT)
    • Daytime lecturers
    • Graduate Assistants
    • Civil Service
      Excluding persons working under the State Comprehensive Employment training Program (SCET) and the Comprehensive Employment Training Act (CETA);

  2. Employees of the following organizations administratively attached to the University of Hawaii who work on the campuses or installations of the University:

    • Saga Food Service
    • Research Corporation of the University of Hawaii (RCUH)
    • University of Hawaii Integrated Program
    • University of Hawaii Professional Assembly

  3. Employees and visiting researchers of the East West Center and the East West Center Fellows;

  4. Employees of the University of Hawaii Foundation;

  5. Persons working under grants of the Gannett Fellows;

  6. Voting members of the University of Hawaii Alumni Association in Honolulu, Hawaii who qualify for membership in accordance with its bylaws as of April 18, 1994;

  7. Graduate Students of the University of Hawaii in the State of Hawaii who have been admitted to the Law School, the Medical School, or the Graduate Division to pursue advanced degrees;

  8. Undergraduate students of the University of Hawaii system in the State of Hawaii (including the community colleges);

  9. Persons living in the residence (Household) of an existing UHFCU member, who maintain a single economic unit, including but not limited to: relatives, domestic partners, legal guardians, etc.

  10. Immediate Family members of a UHFCU member, that is, spouse, siblings, children, parents, grandparents, and grandchildren.

  11. Household or Immediate Family members may join the Credit Union even if the eligible member (within the Field of Membership) has not joined. Once a Household or Immediate Family member joins, then that person's Immediate Family would be eligible to join.

  12. Spouses of persons who died while within the field of membership of this credit union; employees of this credit union; persons retired as pensioners or annuitants from the above employment; members of their immediate families; and organizations of such persons.
